To mark its 5th anniversary, ELICIR has submitted an application for approval of its biocontrol product to ANSES.

ELICIR has delivered on its promise: the application for approval of our biocontrol active ingredient was submitted to ANSES on schedule. This achievement—remarkable for a five-year-old company—reflects the commitment of the ELICIR team and the effectiveness of the strategy developed with EURION Consulting. A new phase is now beginning for ELICIR, focused on the commercialization and industrialization of our technology.

After years of work, ELICIR has just submitted an application for approval of its biocontrol active substance to ANSES, with a view to obtaining registration for its patented plant extract under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009. ELICIR has chosen France as the Rapporteur Member State (RMS) due to its scientific rigor. We would like to thank the ANSES teams who validated the strategy proposed by our consultant, EURION Consulting (www.eurion-consulting.com), during the pre-submission meeting.

ELICIR’s biocontrol technology features a unique and highly effective mode of action. The treated plant is able to rapidly and effectively activate its own defense mechanisms against pathogens such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses. In doing so, the pathogen is neutralized before infestation even occurs. Disease is prevented, and crop yield is preserved.
