A naturally passionate team

ELICIR is developing on the basis of solid test results and a highly specialised team that is fully aware of the agronomic, regulatory and industrial challenges. By relying on a high-level scientific environment in key and complementary fields, we provide effective biological solutions to multiple crops.

Christelle-Barbreau

Dr Christelle BARBREAU
PhD in Plant Pathology University of Montpellier

Christelle is at the origin of ELICIR and has been a member of the international community of scientists specialised in plant elicitors and biostimulants since her doctorate in science obtained at the University of Montpellier II. She is the originator of two other commercialised elicitor products, including the first plant extract approved at the European level, and has lectured internationally on the metabolic pathways that induce plant resistance. Christelle is also an internationally recognised expert on the approval processes of plant protection products at the European level, and more specifically on those of bio-products, which require specific approaches that must be adapted. Christelle is passionate, as confident in the project as she is cautious in the procedures. She has been able to transmit her enthusiasm to the team, and the scientific results are also there to support the approach and confidence. Christelle is co-manager and specifically in charge of R&D strategy and product approvals at ELICIR.

Christophe-BONAZZI

Christophe BONAZZI
AgroParisTech engineer

Christophe has an agricultural engineering background from AgroParisTech, complemented by a PhD in economics from Mines Paristech, where he studied the comparative R&D strategies of agrochemical and pharmaceutical companies. This was at the time of the industrial emergence of bio-technologies and GMOs. Christophe then became a chronic entrepreneur in several high-tech sectors: Ecobilan, the company that gave life cycle analysis its credentials, then Spacecode, in the field of RFID, and then Finsécur, in the fire detection sector. Each of these companies has grown, been sold by industrial exits, and remain prosperous. Incidentally, since 1997, Christophe has also been creating a series of international conferences on the integration of environmental strategies by the economic sphere. Christophe is also a former auditor of the IHEST, a local elected official, and the father of four grown-up children.
